How portable are Aggregation Designs? Currently, I have the same cubes and dimensions in use in 2 different deployments. Each deployment has roughly the same number of customers, products etc. but the specific customers and products differ in each deployment.
For development, I'm using a copy of one of the live deployments where I've removed/replaced identifying information with test data (for example, I've replaced Customer names with fake ones). I'm basing my aggregation designs on this anonymized copy of one of my live deployments.
I'm hoping that the aggregation designs will be useful/applicable to the live deployments ... is this correct? Or, do aggregations really need to be redesigned for each specific set of data?
