Offline cube

Hello,

We created a sql statement that automatically created multiple offline cub files.

These cub files are send to different users (using Sharepoint) as those users do not have access to the online OLAP.

The cub file gets overwritten each day with the latest one (so they get latest data each day)

Now all works well when they connect to the offline cub file via excel - pivot tables (they can change dimensions, measure, ...) BUT when they hit the refresh button in excel we get an error message saying it cannot connect to the original datasource (OLAP).

We actually don't want it to go back to the original datasource as the latest data is already in the cub file.

So the question is: how do we get this working ? Can we edit / remove the datasource connections so that acutally only connects to the cub file and does not try to go back to the datasource ?

Thanks and have a nice day,

Ronny
