Slicer in Excel 2010 with ssas not working

Hi,

I have a cube which when connected through excel 2010 , the slicer feature is not working on a dimension. The error its giving is :

"Unable to retrieve information for hierarchy name slicer. In some cases, this can be due to a custome value in default member property for an attribute of the dimension "

I do have a default member for one of the attribute of this dimension. But another dimension is working fine which also has a default member property defined.

Any help on why this error happens and how to fix this?
