I recently partitioned one of my measure groups and that was the first time ever for me to perform partitioning. The partitions are working perfectly well as expected. However, I have noticed that each time a new measure or a new dimension key is introduced to the fact table, processing of the partitions errors. The first time that happened I addressed the problem by manually going through all the partition queries adding the newly introduced column. Today I have introduced another column and I have hit on the same issue again. I was wondering if there is any better way of introducing the new column names into the individual partition queries without doing it manually partition by partition. Is there anything like “refresh” or something like that that I can use?
