SQL Server 2008 R2 Installation Failure

Hi,

I am Currently Using Win XP SP2 operating system.

While installing SQL Server 2008 R2 developer edition,I got the below error.

AsConfigAction_install_postmsi_Cpu32
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fasion.
Click 'Retry' to retry the failed action, or click'Cancel'to cancel this action and continue setup

Anybody  can tell the solution for success full installation.
