I have a date dimension in my cube. On the KeyColumn, I have set the Value property to be the Date column that is of type "dateType".
This means that when I create a pivot in excel the Date filters are available to me in the pivot table.
But the data in the date column in the pivot table is still showing up as Text. This means if I make a graph from the data, I don't have the option to format the date access by months or years, which I require.
Any idea how to ensure that the data when it gets to excel shows up as an actual Date type?
