Processing Error: The 'WBBindings' required element is missing

Hello

I am having a very strange error while trying to process cubes in a SSAS 2005 database. The SSAS2005 version is 64-bit, with SP2 and the latest hotfixes applied. The situation is as follows:

I have a JOB that runs an SSIS 2005 package and is scheduled to run every night. The package has 2 steps at the end that process (full) all dimensions and then all cubes (full), respectively. The package ran on 27/9/2008, and 28/9/2008 perfectly, but tonight the cubes processing task gave the following error:

During these dates it was weekend, meaning my client's company was closed, discarding any possibility of anyone tampering with the db or the job. Also, nothing changed in the structure of the data or structure of cubes. All tasks before the problematic one ran successfully.

So I tried to view the cubes through SSMS, and got a message that the data was unavailable because the cube was either not processed or not deployed. This message was given while trying to browse any cube in the db.

Then I tried to process the db through SSMS, and got EXACTLY the same error as above (WBBindings ... ). Upon googling the error message, I was surprised to get NO RESULTS! Actually, if I google only the word WBBindings, I get no results........ Very strange.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Bruno
