Problem
If business users refresh their Excel reports based on an OLAP Cube, after some changes were done to the data warehouse, 1 parameter is lost. This parameter is a hierarchy, a parent-child relation (organisational hierarchy). All the other parameters are not lost after refresh only this one.
Production roll-out method
When we roll-out production changes we empty all the tables of our production data warehouse, then we deploy the SQL scripts and if needed override some ETL packages. Cube changes are being deployed by BIDS on our development server, with a configuration to our production server.
Any help would be appreciated?
