Hi,
I have issues connecting to Analysis Service using Management Studio. I’m getting following Error Message.
TITLE: Connect to Server

Cannot connect to MDSPSDB01\dbm_sps1.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A connection cannot be made. Ensure that the server is running. (Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient)

DIME protocol error: The required bytes cannot be read from the stream. (Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
In my system I have SQL Server 2008 Standard edition and SQL Server 2008R2 Developer edition.
I’m using Port 1433 for standard Edition Port 1435 for Developer Edition.
Please advice…
