SSAS Cube Synch - which server's memory it will consume?

Hi,

As I know there are 2 ways to synch the SSAS cube- 1. Manual way(via DB Synch wizard) 2. XMLA script which can also be automated.

I am using both ways randomly to synchronize the ssas cube from source server to destination server.

XMLA script is being executed via SSIS dtsx package in Source server and manual synchronization wizard need to trigger from destination server.

In both the cases, which server's memory(CPU utilization) it will consume - either source server or destination server?

Can you help or provide any reference please ?
