I get a number of errors mentioning failure when processing particular attributes on various dimensions.
I've read a number of similar errors but none quite seem to fit my situation.
I am trying to add time intelligence to an existing database. I copied that database into a new project in Visual Studio. I redeployed without making any changes which worked fine. I then started making small incremental changes to see at what point it breaks. Firstly I simply renamed all the existing dimensions by removing the Dim.
Still deployed OK.
I then deleted the existing data dimension. Deployed OK. Added the date dimension back but this time defining it correctly with Time type. Deployed OK.
I now added attribute relationships (Year to Quarter, Quarter to Month, etc.) and set the relationships as Rigid.
Now crashes with the errors on various dimensions which I have not changed.
I took the attribute relationships back out. Still crashes and still complaining about dimensions other than the one I've been changing.
I then deleted the Date dimension and now it deploys OK.
I've set the target server type as 13 but the default server type is Enterprise Core. We do have Enterprise servers but I don't really know what Core means. Is this a relevant setting - that is, do I have to get that right?
