Visibility of caclulated members in Excel pivot table

Hi, guys!

I'm working with SSAS 2014 and Excel 2010 (Office Professional Plus) - and here is the problem I have:

  • I've implemented some calculated members of a dimension like this:
    CREATE MEMBER CURRENTCUBE.[DIM_xyz_MEASURE].[xyz_MEASURE_CODE].[xx_102] AS [DIM_xyz_MEASURE].[xyz_MEASURE_CODE].[102]
  • after processing these members are usable e.g. by MDX in SSMS, but Excel pivot seems to be a little bit strange
  • the calculated members are only visible in dimension filter if the related dimension is part of the report filter

<here should be a screenshot - but not allowed to me at the moment!>
  • ...in all other cases these members are invisble at all - and I'm also not able to show such members in a row or column, only NonCalculated members appear in rows or columns.

What I'm doing wrong?

Kind regards!

Sebastian
